We are delighted to announce the acquisition of Campbell Smith effective 1st Feb 2019. Campbell Smith Insurance Services are a well-established insurance brokerage with an experienced team of dedicated staff serving the local community in Greenock since Willie Smith founded the firm back in 1974.
The Campbell Smith brand, office and staff team are all being retained including Willie who will work closely with us in the coming 12 months. In addition we have added to the commercial team in Greenock with immediate effect and accordingly, management are excited by the prospect of building on the solid foundations already in place – especially in the commercial market where our local presence adds value for our existing customers and makes for a strong service proposition to potential new customers also.
Our common connection as Broker Network members has helped greatly with the transition and recent investment in a cloud-based IT solution has allowed us to merge the Campbell Smith systems quickly and efficiently; with the new branch immediately benefitting from the Greenwood Moreland back office infrastructure.
Existing customers of Campbell Smith will continue to receive the same attentive level of service as they are hopefully used to – personnel, phone numbers, email addresses and office address all remain unchanged.
With this addition, we are now handling insurance premiums in the region of £10m annually and anticipate continued growth across all areas of the business in the coming years.
We look forward to this new opportunity at Campbell Smith and trust that we are able to enhance our service proposition to all customers alongside our select panel of insurers and related service providers.
